Norwich has a new ice hockey team

The Norwich Hockey Club (at the Norwich Free Academy) has a new team, which was announced last year:
Girls hockey is here! Just four years after the launch of its boys’ U18 AAA program, Norwich Hockey Club (NHC) announced it is launching a girls’ program that will begin play in fall 2025.
Last Saturday was their first home game (vs the Connecticut Polar Bears), I was able to attend and there was a decent sized crowd.
They play the home games at the Rose Garden Rink in Norwich, the schedule is here: https://www.norwichhc.org/girls
I know there are more critical issues these days, but I just want to give some coverage and exposure to the new team, as a local ice hockey fan and Norwich resident. A friend of mine is also the GM of the NHC
